Hedi Slimane, ma vie

Dear Diary....

Some of the latest images to be entered into the world of Hedi Slimane through his online diary.
Thank you Mr Slimane for allowing us to enter your wonderful head of grunge and indie.. inspiring and stimulating. I love this man, his skulls and his excellent choice in boys.
I cannot wait for the next journal entry!

sheer beauty

I adore the ability that sheerness has to bring grunge with a spoonful of femininity to it... I daydream of being a gothic princess and twirling under dead vines to the Cure and Sisters of Mercy.

aquarterofacentury

A dedication to my beautiful, clever little friend who lets me talk endless nonsense with her, encourages my inspiration and allows me to dream about the neverever.
You are wonderful shu shu child! Can't wait to drink vinos with you under your leafy canopy outside and dance the salsa in the middle of the street under the full moon xx (p.s. sorry this post is a bit late and you are now a quarter of a century and 2 days old)

Smoking Kills..

As a friend once said to me "... I don't smoke because I like it, I smoke because I look f***ing cool". I didnt believe her until I saw this photo and it makes what she said have so much more credit

Under the Milkyway

It has been exciting to see the brilliant style reflected on The FaceHunter's blog this past week... he has been venturing through Sydney and Melbourne and the images he has posted have been a wonderful portrayal of our special sense of style down here- I love how the images post varying, eclectic personal styles... although I think don't give justice to just how many people have a wonderful interpretation of fashion and create their own look in the land down under.

Unfortunately, it seems that there is this perception from people overseas, that we must be a bit slow on the uptake in regards to fashion and leading trends because we are so far away from everything. Each day I am surrounded by the most amazing group of individuals who interpret their own tastes and influences to form a brilliant individual style, there is no judgement past between each other because of how one looks instead we all bounce off one another with ideas and compliments, further encouraging our own style and free spirit. We are most definitely trend setters in our own little world down here in Australia...I like to think this anyway...x
