the children of the summer's end

a day of a beyond inspiring mix of dazzling individuality, indulging tunes, brilliant artists, a shared passion and endless kodak moments.... i found myself eating daisies

who- will get me to a party?
who- do i have yet to meet?
you- you look a bit like coffee
And you taste a bit like me
How- can i keep me from moving?
now- i just need a change of scenery
just listen to me I won't pretend to
Understand the movement of the wind
Or the waves out in the ocean or how
Like the hours I change softly slowly
Plainly blindly oh me oh my

well the night was falling as the desert world
began to settle down
in the town they're searching for us everywhere
cause we never will be found

touch, we touched the very soul
of holding each and every life
we claimed the very source of joy ran through
it didn't, but it seemed that way
I kissed a lot of people that day

someone passed some bliss among the crowd
and we walked back to the road, unchained

i can't describe what it is about this photo that i find so intriguing... its the ultra cool "i dont give a shit" vibe that it seems to send to me. the posture, hair, cigarette, light denim jacket- they all portray a confidence that i think most of us could carry off so easily as this punk.

I might just get up and dance
Or buy some acid-wash pants
When you don't care then you got nothing to lose

And I won't
Hesitate
'Cause every moment life is slipping away
It's ok
