seaweed farming

in Bali... the seaweed farms line the almost untouched coastline at the bottom of the giant limestone cliffs.. straw mats cover the white sand and can barely be seen by mazes of seaweed either covering the mats or hanging from bamboo "clothesline like" rods. The colours are beautiful- deep greens mixed with the taupe and natural tones of the straw and bamboo..all alongside the aqua green flat ocean.

The aroma is a concoction of salt, seaweed and clove cigarettes...and the faint smell of my tanning oil still lingering on my skin- im in a very special place.
