GAIL

Being a QLD girl- we have been fortunate enough to be spoilt with the wonderful creations of Gail Sorronda for the past couple of years. It is so exciting to see this talent receive recognition worldwide as she definitely deserves it- her work is beyond fantastic- I always feel very special when I wear one of her pieces..and I cant see that feeling leaving any time soon. The above images are from her SS 09 lookbook and also some old snaps of her SS08 collection- http://gailsorronda.com/

just another day on Oxford St

apparently you dont get towed away if you park your car in a Bus Lane with a huge big bear on the top of it!
(it was the most beautiful Friday afternoon)

ellery ss'09

shots taken from Ellery's SS 09 show at Rosemount Fashion Week in Sydney last week. Such a gorgeous show- and supported by the brilliant Hot Little Hands in gold masks and all. It made us all easily forget we had been waiting outside on the road for 1.5 hrs but not without cold beverage and beautiful people to talk to! all in all a wonderful event.
see more of the collection here

skull windows

The most wonderful window displays are currently on show at sass and bide. I believe they were a commissioned art project by the very creative Pip Edwards.

The above shots are taken in front of the sass and bide store on Oxford St, Paddington.

On the wish list!
